ABTST is a non-profit organization created to help children of all ages believe in themselves. ABTST partnered with Central Florida mom, Elena Rawls, whose son Aiden was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma, to help create an event to turn the city of Apopka gold and raise awareness for childhood cancer during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The $2,000 grant helped CKc educate attendees at the Golden Warrior Festival about pediatric cancer. Cannonball Kids’ cancer sponsored a booth during the event, which took place September 15th. [$2,000]
Donations go directly towards funding pediatric cancer research projects to make better treatments for kids battling cancer so they may not endure the horrific pain or develop secondary cancers associated with their treatment.
