Scotland Clinical Trial Accessibility Grant

Project Title

Scotland Clinical Trial Accessibility Grant

Layman’s summary

Children in Scotland have no access to clinical trials when their disease is resistant or recurrent without traveling outside the country. The Schiehallion Appeal is a fundraising campaign which will establish a clinical trial program in Scotland and give these children access to new and novel drugs. The grant supports a nurse’s salary to acquire education and training in the U.S. and then administer those treatments to patients.
