Ways To Give

When you give to CKc your donation goes directly towards revolutionary research working to save the lives of children fighting cancer, childhood cancer survivors, and the generations of tomorrow. Your gift matters. Thank you for joining our fight.

Cryptocurrency

CKc is now accepting cryptocurrency donations, thanks to our partners at Pledge. Make your gift by clicking here.

Donor-advised funds

Please authorize your fund manager to release your name so we can record the gift properly, and please advise them to mail the check to 1555 Howell Branch Road C202 Winter Park, FL 32789.

Qualified Charitable distributions

For those aged 70½ or older, a total of up to $100,000 can be transferred directly from traditional or Roth IRAs to CKc free from federal income tax each year. There may also be state income tax savings. Amounts given in this way count toward the required IRA minimum withdrawal amounts for the year of the gift. To make a gift in this way, it is important to not withdraw funds prior to a gift, but have the gift amount distributed directly from an IRA to CKc.

In Honor of / In Memory Of

Whether you choose us in honor of your birthday celebration, retirement, or in memory of a loved one, we are so grateful when you choose CKc to honor milestone moments. If you would like a donation page set up as you fundraise, please fill out this form

If your group or foundation is raising money in honor of a loved one who has passed from cancer, we can partner to co-sponsor a grant that has been reviewed by our Scientific Advisory Board. Allow the process CKc already has in place to serve you by ensuring the dollars you have raised go directly to research.

Legacy/Planned Giving

Bequests are the easiest way to leave your legacy with CKc. In your will or other estate plan, you can name Cannonball Kids’ cancer Foundation as the beneficiary of a specific amount or portion of your estate or of particular assets in your estate.

Giving by bequest costs nothing now, yet it can give you a great deal of satisfaction to know that your future gift will live on. You have several options when making a legacy gift. Here are a few for your consideration.

Unrestricted Gifts: Your gift will be put to use as determined by the board of directors and finance committee. Such bequests are a valuable investment, as they allow CKc to meet future needs.

Endowed Funds: Endowment gifts retain the principal of your donation and provide income every year in perpetuity for research grants.  A gift to the endowment preserves the real value of the gift while generating income for CKc. Growth in the endowment will ensure a permanent source of funding for our mission.

Please consult your tax and estate professional to learn about more legacy gift options.

YOU CAN MAKE TWICE THE DIFFERENCE WITH MATCHING GIFTS! Many employers offer matching gift programs and will double (and sometimes even triple) your donation! Some companies will even match volunteer hours, or donations made by employees’ spouses and retirees.
