Expansion Site for EXCEL Trial
Layman’s summary
The EXCEL Trial is a first in children, multi-site cellular therapy trial sponsored by the Pediatric Transplant and Cellular Therapy (PTCT), to give a haploidentical transplant with addition of donor-derived, expanded natural killer cells. The goal for the trial is to study the safety and efficacy of donor-derived, ex vivo expanded NK cells in producing lasting remission in a population of children with very high risk of relapse from their AML. This grant will allow AdventHealth to enroll three pediatric patients before the trial closes.
