Layman’s summary

Dr. Kline’s trial studies an immunotherapy drug which has never before been used in children and is currently being fast tracked for FDA approval because of its promise for treating cancers. This trial utilizes an oral delivery of medication but assesses treated tumor tissue that is surgically removed to determine concentration of drug and therefore treatment effectiveness.
