Oscar Broca Relapsed Brain Tumor Trial

Project Title

A Phase I Trial of Indoximod and Temozolomide-Based Therapy for Children With Progressive Primary Brain Tumors

Layman’s summary

This trial studies an immunotherapy drug called Indoximod which was discovered at Augusta University and has never before been used in children. It is already proving a potent approach for breaking immune tolerance in adult brain tumors when combined with chemotherapy and radiation and is being administered orally to children with relapsed brain tumors who have few other treatment options.
