Tribute Gifts

What is a tribute gift?

Broadly speaking, a tribute gift is a commemorative donation to a nonprofit organization made in memory, in honor, or in support of someone or something. More specifically, tribute gifts help form a deep connection between people and the nonprofit organizations doing work that they have been deeply impacted by.

How can you make a tribute gift with CKc?

CKc recognizes tribute gifts through Memorial and Honor Contributions. A Memorial Contribution provides an opportunity to honor the memory of a loved one with a monetary gift in their name. An Honor Contribution is a unique way to recognize or celebrate an individual for a noteworthy accomplishment or on a special occasion. Any gift made to CKc can be designated “in memory of” or “in honor of” a person. When donors make this kind of gift they can choose to have CKc notify (we send a card to) the person or family members the gift is dedicated to (donors provide the address of the card recipient).

Here are some resources to make a tribute gift.
